The second week of Oct in Montgomery is widely known as 'Constitution Week' by the Alabama Department of Archives & History. The Archives is open all days rest Sunday. Walk ‘N Wag
On the primary Sabbatum of Oct, you will be a part of the Montgomery Humane Society for the Annual Walk ‘N Wag. It is a Great Event in Alabama. It is a one-mile pledge walk to support the over 8,600 homeless animals within the Montgomery. You will participate in the walk along with your pets and participate in contests to include Best Canine voice, Longest Tail, Owner/Pet Look-a-Like, Best Pet Halloween Costume and “Frosty Paws”.
